I’m reviewing Phil Rod even though we didn’t rent a car from him. I left arranging a car to the last minute and all of his car’s were booked for the length of our stay. Nevertheless, Phil kindly referred me to three other agencies to see if they had a car available, one of which did. It says a lot about a person or business when they go out of their way to provide customer service even when they don’t stand to benefit in the least. I’ll rent from Phil on our next trip.

I contacted Phillrod a day before arrival on Barbados, we had a deal very quickly.. all docs for driving were completed up front, they picked us up in time, and took us back when agreed. Punctual, affordable and honest!
I rented a vehicle from Phil in March of 2022. It was my first time in Barbados and I wasn’t aware that as a driver over 70, I required a physical to be able to rent a vehicle. Phil was amazingly accommodating, helping me to facilitate these restrictions and providing me with a car after I passed the annual medical requirement, with same day service. The vehicle was fantastic and the service top-notch. I’ll be returning for repeat business and wholly recommend Phil and his car rental service!
Our first time in Barbados, Phil came back to me with reasonable price and gave me a car right away. He was so kind and nice and gave us smooth experience. We got the car, drove and if needed an extended days, he was happy to oblige. I dropped car off at the airport and he dropped me off kindly. Can’t complain, honest service and kind customer service. Will come back again 🙂
